Image and file sizes
- Profile background (banner): 1584 × 396 px recommended. LinkedIn Help · Make one with the Banner Maker.

- Document post (PDF carousel): up to 100 MB and 300 pages; PDF, PPT, PPTX, DOC or DOCX. LinkedIn Help · Make one with the Carousel Generator.
How characters are counted
Our tools count one character per letter, digit, space, punctuation mark, emoji and line break, the way you see them. Styled Unicode letters, such as bold or italic, count as one each. Underline and strikethrough add a mark to every letter, so they use two characters per letter.
LinkedIn changes its limits from time to time. If you spot a difference, tell us and we will check and update this page.
